The Cake Collective is a nonprofit cake studio based in Charlotte, NC, specializing in small-batch, made-to-order cakes. Proceeds from all orders support local women’s shelters and women-focused causes.

Project Scope:
Design a branded set of Instagram carousel posts to streamline the custom ordering process and clearly communicate the studio’s mission.

Deliverables:

• 2 branded carousel sets:
  – Made to Order (order form + optional cover page)
  – Read This First (FAQ + optional cover page)

• Multiple layout typography and pricing iterations

• Custom illustrations and hand-drawn elements to match the tone of the brand

Design Approach:
I pulled the deep green directly from the logo and paired it with a soft off-white background to keep things clean and warm. Using the font inspiration she provided, I created multiple layout iterations that balanced a modern serif with a playful script. The result is a cohesive, elegant design that feels personal and brand-aligned. Perfect for a small nonprofit bakery with heart.
